About the Role
As a Deputy Home Manager, you will help ensure the level of clinical care goes beyond professional standards and regulatory requirements. You will provide specialist nursing support and advice, take responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence, and supervise/coaching colleagues to deliver a service that emphasises empathy for resident needs.
About You
HC-One is looking for a Deputy Home Manager with a valid NMC PIN, knowledge of National Standards, and the NMC code of practice. You should have experience in person-centred care planning within a care home. You will bring a positive energy, great mentoring skills, effective time management, and the ability to maintain meaningful records. You should communicate with residents and colleagues in a considerate and kind manner.
You will value kindness in all aspects of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility; you should recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. All colleagues attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and may undertake additional training as needed.
