* BEPs: Help clients transform their operating model, processes, systems, data in preparation for Pillar 2
* Managed Services: Provide compliance services to global clients across tax, accounting, transfer pricing obligations under a managed service arrangement
* Technology: Help clients leverage technology, tools, and platforms to transform their tax function
* Tax Operating Model: Collaborate with clients to build and operate a leading tax function, managing risk, opportunities, reputation, and compliance
* Data Management: Support client tax teams to maximize the use of organizational data to manage the Tax Function effectively
Senior Manager - Data and Automation
We are seeking talented Senior Managers to join us, preferably in Canada Square, London, with flexibility on location. Candidates should have experience in:
* Deep tax compliance, automation, and reporting expertise, especially around indirect taxes, including EMEA compliance
* End-to-end finance processes (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Record-to-report) and their integration with tax
* Advising on tax technology to support compliance and reporting
* Implementing tax technology, including requirements gathering and designing documentation
* Tax transformation, governance, process design, and improvement
* Project and client management
Additional desirable skills include:
* Knowledge of data, databases, data transmission, data transformation, and SQL
* Analyzing large data volumes
* Designing cloud-based applications from a tax perspective
* Acting as a liaison between technology and tax teams
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Leading tax transformation and technology projects, often within broader finance transformations
* Helping clients design and deploy automation solutions for Tax
* Designing systems addressing tax requirements across countries
* Collaborating with colleagues and other teams within KPMG
* Developing governance and control frameworks
* Enhancing service offerings and delivery models
* Maintaining strong client relationships
* Managing and overseeing project teams and offshore resources
* Identifying opportunities for additional services
* Providing coaching and technical support
* Following KPMG policies and best practices
Knowledge and Experience:
At senior manager level, candidates should be proactive, curious, committed, and invested in self-development. Skills include resilience, accountability, leadership, managing engagements, and client relationships. Qualifications such as ATT, CTA, ACA, or equivalent are welcomed, along with project management and transformation skills. Additional skills include:
* Understanding of automation and technology to improve efficiency and risk management
* Process, risk, and controls design expertise
* Strong communication skills
* Responsibility and accountability for work
* Problem analysis and integration skills
