Job summary
This is a role for a compassionate and reliable care professional looking to develop specialist clinical skills in complex care. The successful candidate will provide 1:1 care, supporting both the clinical and emotional needs of an individual in their own home. Full training and ongoing support will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity to grow a career in specialist care.
Main duties of the job
The Complex Care Assistant will be responsible for delivering high-quality 1:1 care, helping the individual feel safe, included, and empowered at home. They will work closely with the family and healthcare professionals. The role includes specialist training in areas such as tracheostomy care, suctioning, enteral & PEG feeding, and oxygen therapy.
