As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in helping pupils feel confident, supported, and engaged—making a real impact both in and beyond the classroom. We are recruiting dedicated and reliable Teaching Assistants to work across primary and secondary schools in Crawley and the surrounding areas. With both long-term and flexible day-to-day opportunities available, this role can fit around your availability while giving you the chance to gain experience in a range of school settings. Key Responsibilities: Supporting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities Working one-to-one or with small groups to reinforce learning Creating a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment Supporting pupils with additional or individual learning needs Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement throughout the school day Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff to promote pupil progress and wellbeing What We’re Looking For: Experience working with children or young people (education, care, or similar settings) A patient, supportive, and adaptable approach Confidence working with pupils across different age groups and abilities Strong communication and teamwork skills An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Why Work With Supply Desk?
