We are seeking an experienced leader with a background in managing diverse teams at a senior level to join our leadership group. The Modern Matron position is available to support Mulberry and Suite Adult Inpatient Wards based at Fulbourn Hospital in Care Group .
The role involves overseeing safe, high-quality care, governance, and performance to improve service user experience across the wards, as well as supporting our new inpatient clinical model to enhance service flow. This band a portfolio contributes to shaping, developing, and maintaining the mental health acute care pathway, aiming to ensure safe and effective clinical interventions and strengthen the integration between the Crisis pathway, Community teams, and Inpatient services.
Main duties of the job
1. To lead and manage the acute adult mental health across the inpatient & associated teams in Care Group delivering safe and effective high-quality services, within the available resources to achieve the team targets.
2. The post holder will provide leadership and expertise to deliver services within an agreed service model, working with service users and carers, and other stakeholders, maintaining effective working relationships.
3. The post holder will work to establish effective multi-disciplinary working within and across the wider acute services.
Required Experience:
• Demonstrated experience managing a range of teams in a senior capacity and ability to work collaboratively within a wider leadership team.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality care and service provision.
• Ability to work flexibly across multiple services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of governance and service performance.
• Commitment to leading teams in providing excellent patient care.
• Ability to employ a transformational leadership approach.
• Physical intervention & debrief proficient
• Experienced in HR case management
