About Our Client
Our client, a well known and growing company based in Croydon are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join their accountancy team on a temporary basis for an initial 3 month period with the opportunity for extension or being made permanent.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities 1. Monthly reconciliations and month-end proceduresSupport Quad Leads with Finance Business Partner responsibility.* Bank account and credit card reconciliations* Payroll and staff analysis update* Bacs Review* Process and approve requisitions* Year End Audit support as required* Support with Finance Office Queries* Preparation of monthly balance sheet and capital spend reconciliations (prepayments, accruals, bankaccounts, etc.) and posting month-end journals into PSF* Management Accounts Preparation including available to spend report* Support with budget work as needed* Reconciliation and review of monthly inter-academy recharges into PSF* Review and reconciling group utility spend monthly* Support with group contract management* Group Fixed Asset management2. Other ad-hoc duties* Assistance with year-end procedures and audit, including preparation of reconciliation schedules,compiling any audit evidence required and assisting with any other ad-hoc audit requests* Raising occasional sales invoices and assisting in credit control / aged debtor management* Liaising with large catering supplier to manage invoices and queries* Support the purchase ledger / supplier management function during periods of absence / holidays* Other ad-hoc duties to support the wider Finance Team* Working with Systems Team to clear down prior year commitments off the Purchasingsystem
