Based at St Drostans Court Supported Housing, Infirmary Street, Brechin.

St Drostan’s Court is a Supported Accommodation Unit in Brechin. Your base will be St Drostan’s Court with an expectation that you may be required to work in Provost Johnstone Road, Montrose as part of your contract hours. You will work as part of a team to support and enable adults with varying needs, physical disabilities, learning disabilities and dementia.
Duties may also include support with tenancy support tasks, supporting social and recreational activities and responding to emergency situations. Recording and reporting to appropriate agencies. Personal care and medication administration tasks are not undertaken by on-site staff in this service.
You will be required to undertake the following mandatory training via E- Learning: Data Protection Employee induction Information Governance Freedom of Information Fire safety awareness SPSO – What is a complaint stage 1 Annual Governance Reminder Staying Safe and Well Customer Care ECLIPSE PPE
You will be required to undertake the following mandatory training which is specific to your job: Adult Support and Protection Manual Handling specific to this service Emergency First Aid at work
SVQ 2 and Scottish Social Services Council Registration are not required in this service.
Hours of Work: 30 hours per week on a shift-based system including night duty and weekend working.
