Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

At our service in Aberdeen, we support a young man to live as independently as possible in his own home. This young man is proud of his independence and is looking for people to join his team who are interested in trying new things and will support him to achieve his goals. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to support this gentleman with going to his job, swimming, throwing stones, going on long walks, visiting castles, having BBQs and enjoying all that life has to offer. This young man lives in his own flat in Aberdeen City Centre and enjoys tending his plants in the shared garden there. Our staff team are very supportive and experienced and also provide some support with: • Medication administration • Cooking and home maintenance • Social support and support to achieve personal goals Our team provide support 7 days a week, so we ask for flexibility to work shifts from Monday-Sunday and this will include some sleepover shifts. Our shift patterns can vary, but some examples of typical shifts are listed - 9am - 6pm - 9am - 9am (includes sleepover) - 5.45pm - 5.45am (includes sleepover) We are currently recruiting for a Bank Worker. Due to the activities of the person we support it is essential that you have an UK driving license and travel may be outwith Aberdeen City Centre. We are looking for a Support Worker that enjoys outdoor activities in all weathers as the person we support loves the things he enjoys doing outdoors. A holder of a UK driving license is essential for this role.About you:
The people we support like to be supported by people who respect them and their homes, but who also like to have fun! We like people who are reliable and honest and are able to remain calm under pressure, so they can support people effectively and build fantastic relationships.
