Role Overview:
As a Drama Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering dynamic and engaging lessons across Key Stages. You will help students explore a range of performance styles and develop their skills in acting, stagecraft, and collaboration.
Responsibilities as a Drama Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging drama lessons that spark creativity and build confidence.
Support students in developing acting, speaking, and performance skills.
Prepare pupils for practical assessments, school productions, and GCSE performances.
Encourage teamwork, expression, and participation in creative activities.
Maintain a well-managed, inclusive, and enthusiastic classroom environment.
Requirements for the Drama Teacher role:
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
A degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related subject.
Experience teaching Drama at school level is desirable.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A passion for the arts and working with young people.
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
