As a psychiatrist you will provide excellent clinical care, assessment and treatment to patients on the case load onsite. You will actively participate in the strategic direction of the mental health service, lead the senior mental health clinicians on service developments and provide clinical supervision. You will work within the multi-disciplinary team to review referrals, determine appropriate treatment plans, conduct risk assessments, and engage in multi professional complex case reviews.
Main duties of the job
You will be a registered professional with current registration (GMC) with a specialist registration in either General Adult or Forensic Psychiatry. You will also have an understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working, and up to date knowledge in the adult psychiatry and PD. Interested in clinical development?

This is a part-time role working hours per week.

Job responsibilities

You will also;
Provide expert clinical adviceand outstanding evidence based care, listening and acting onpatient feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters tothem. You will also provide supervisionof the day to day delivery of mental health therapies and lead on developmentof clinical practice and the implementation of the mental health pathway.
Deliver non-judgemental care by leading the team to deliver carethat is safe, high quality, patient centred whilst meeting CQC requirementsfollowing our policies, procedures and always considering safeguarding.
