Bank Care Practitioner. Manor Park Care Home
Hours: Bank / Flex
Salary: £13.31 per hour
Shift Pattern: 8am-8pm OR 8pm-8am
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Bank Care Practitioners to join our team at the brand-new Manor Park Care Home in the beautiful market town of Malton.
This is a fantastic opportunity for flexible working, allowing you to pick up shifts that suit your availability while making a meaningful difference to residents’ lives.
As a Care Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing at all times. Whether working days or nights, you’ll help create a safe, warm, and engaging environment where residents feel respected and valued.
Key Responsibilities.
Provide high-quality personal care, including assistance with washing, dressing, and mobility
Support residents with meals, hydration, and social activities
Respond promptly to call bells and changes in residents’ needs
Maintain accurate care records and handover notes
Follow infection control and health & safety procedures
Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure continuity of care
Help create a positive and stimulating environment for residents
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a care setting is desirable
A calm, patient, and compassionate approach
Strong attention to detail and observational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends
A commitment to person-centred care and maintaining dignity
