Job Description - Travel Experience Counselor I (2500008A)
We are seeking a Travel Experience Counselor I who will meet the standards of excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
1. Create domestic reservations for clients, including air, hotel, rail, and ground transportation.
2. May create single destination international itineraries to major international destinations.
3. Advise clients on international travel requirements such as visas, passports, immunizations, etc.
4. Support one or more accounts.
5. Solve typical travel-related problems consistently.
6. Operate within detailed procedures with minimal supervision.
7. Interact with travelers or travel arrangers, providing first-level support for customer service and technical issues.
8. Utilize CWT preferred vendors to maximize profit and ensure compliance with clients’ travel policies, using available resources, including online tools.
9. Adhere to CWT standards in customer service, including telephone/email etiquette and escalation procedures.
10. Follow company procedures, guidelines, and standards in building Passenger Name Records, using tools, maintaining productivity, accuracy, and attendance.
11. Attend staff and training meetings to stay updated on the travel industry and office procedures.
12. Maintain a cooperative and harmonious working relationship with colleagues.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Experience & Education:
* Minimum 1 year call center or equivalent travel counselor experience.
* Industry knowledge and reservation skills for domestic and international reservations.
* Proficiency in at least one CRS.
* High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
* Ability to meet and maintain required performance standards.
*An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
