The RoleYoull provide full commercial support across live civil engineering projects, ensuring strong financial control, accurate forecasting, and effective contract administration. Working closely with Operations, youll drive value, manage risk, and maintain positive relationships with clients and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities Administer NEC/ECC contracts and ensure compliance with company processes Manage budgets, risks, forecasts, and CVRs Prepare applications for payment and manage cashflow Procure and negotiate with subcontractors to secure best value Identify and price variations, maximising commercial outcomes Support the site team with cost and value reporting Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
What Youll Bring Proven experience as a QS in civil engineering Strong understanding of NEC, ECC, ICE or JCT contracts Solid commercial, procurement and financial awareness Good IT skills (Excel, Outlook, commercial systems) Full UK driving licence HNC/Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (preferred) RICS (desirable)
