FINTEC recruit is seeking a Management Accountant for our engineering client based in Highland region. This is a permanent position, office based. You will be working with internal departments within the UK and with the European Finance team, reporting to the Director of Finance.
Responsibilities:
Preparing and managing month end and annual year end accounts & reports
Preparing monthly management accounts and variance analysis
Monitoring capital project spend and completion reviews
Prepare annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasts
Training and support within the wider finance teams.
Be driven and proactive in working within a fast paced international business environment
Skills and experience required for the Management Accountant role:
Qualified Accountant, finance professional with a proven track record within a Management Accountancy role or similar,
Experience of working with financial and non-financial stakeholders
Advanced excel skills - ability to manipulate data for financial analysis (including pivot tables and lookups) Good IT skills
Desirable, Microsoft Dynamics AX, product costing & running SOX and internal control audits not an essential
