Job Title: Laboratory Technician Location: Edgbaston, Birmingham Contract Type: Temporary (12 months with potential extension) Hourly Rate: £13.53 Working Pattern: Full Time (40 hours per week) Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM About the Role: As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring that products are tested to the highest quality and safety standards. Your responsibilities will include: Operating and maintaining manufacturing and testing equipment Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with regulatory standards Accurately recording work progress and managing inventory transactions using ERP systems Completing production records and worksheets in real-time as per the Quality Management System (QMS) Collaborating with your team to support right-first-time manufacturing and on-time deliveryWhat You Bring: To succeed in this role, you should possess: A scientific degree or relevant professional laboratory experience (1 year preferred) Computer literacy (Word/Excel) Strong time management and organisational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills A keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask A positive attitude and a personable approachPreferred Qualifications: Familiarity with health and safety regulations (e.g., COSHH) Knowledge of Quality System Requirements, such as ISO 13485 Previous laboratory experience in a cGMP environment is a plus Ready to Apply?
