General cleaning duties within a residential care home setting.
The home caters for 77 elderly resisdents, all who have their own bedroom with ensuite facilities.
Tou will be working as part of a domestic team headed by you as housekeeper.
About You
To join us as a Housekeeper you'll need a caring nature, personable approach and good practical skills. Just as importantly, you should be reliable and keen to use your attention to detail to make a positive difference.
Previous Experience in similar Role is essential.
Key Objectives:
To provide a clean, fresh environment throughout the Home.
Duties And Responsibilities
1. To help maintain a happy atmosphere in the home.
2. To clean all parts of the Home as directed and in accordance with laid down cleaning schedules.
3. To maintain a stock of cleaning materials sufficient for the effective operation of the Home, within the agreed budget and to order supplies as necessary following the approved stock list as displayed in each cleaners cupboard.
4. To carry out such duties with due regard to fire and accident prevention and the comfort and convenience of residents.

6. To carry out a brief check of possible safety hazards when cleaning residents' rooms, and to report any possible hazards to the Manager.
7. To ensure safe operation and maintenance, as needed, of all cleaning equipment. To remove from use and to report to the Manager any item of equipment found to be faulty or deemed unsafe.
8. To complete monthly audit as per Company procedure.
9. To ensure that the daily/monthly cleaning schedule documents are being completed accurately and promptly.
10. To undertake other duties, as necessary.
