Senior Mechanic
Reporting to the Head of Plant and Machinery Maintenance, our client is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and professional individual to join their expanding team, which is committed to consistently delivering service excellence. You will be required to use your initiative and judgment daily. The role will include preventative maintenance, servicing and repair to an extensive fleet of golf course maintenance equipment. This role will require both onsite and offsite maintenance and will involve leading a team of mechanics and logistical personnel that will grow over time.

Key Deliverables:
1. Inspects, diagnoses and repairs mechanical defects/failures in various golf course maintenance equipment, including, diesel, electric- and gasoline-powered automobiles, mowers, tractors, rollers and other mechanical equipment used in utility work
2. Instructs and/or trains golf course maintenance workers regarding preventive maintenance, and the proper cleaning of and safe operation of equipment
3. Keeps records for equipment and parts inventory purchases and completed works
4. Completes regular servicing of all equipment and sharpening of mowing equipment
