Our client operates multiple nursery settings in and around Leeds, seeking an enthusiastic nursery assistant with prior experience and a strong desire to grow. With well-equipped rooms catering to children aged 3 months to 5 years, you'll have access to diverse resources and activities to support the children under your care.

Responsibilities:
8. Design age-appropriate activities to nurture specific child development
9. Cultivate strong relationships with parents and caregivers, fulfilling key children responsibilities
10. Conduct observations during EYFS curriculum-based activities to track progress
11. Assist with children's hygiene routines and mealtimes
12. Ensure a secure and enjoyable environment with a focus on health and safety
13. Safeguard children and report welfare concerns promptly
14. Record daily diary entries and conduct end-of-day handover procedures with parents
15. Support training and professional growth of other staff members in the room
Requirements:
16. Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one through Randstad
17. Prior experience working with children aged 0-5 is essential
18. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
19. Excellent communication skills
20. Strong work ethic and professional demeanour
21. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team
22. Thorough understanding of the EYFS curriculum
23. Dedication to children's development with an energetic, positive attitude
24. Eligibility to work in the UK

26. Paediatric first aid training
