· Location London, Greater London · Salary £ 18.04 - £ 23.7 / Hourly · Job type Temporary · Industry Public Sector and Government · External Reference 7309 · Category Public Sector - Public Sector Administration JOB TITLE: Administrator (Licensing experience) LOCATION: Hybrid working, Ealing (Initial 4-6 weeks in office for training, then will open up to 2 days working remote, 3 in the office) PAY RATE: £18.04 paye / £23.70 umbrella (per hour) START DATE: ASAP DURATION/Hours: 3-month initial contract/ 35 hours a week Role purpose: · To provide high-quality front-line customer service · To provide effective licensing administration and support services Key accountabilities: · To support and assist in the provision of licensing and support · To work with computerised systems as required · To treat work records confidentially To provide first point of contact for the receipt of enquires and applications and to provide advice on processes relating to licensing including funding, Licensing Act 2003, Gambling Act 2005, Massage and Special Treatments, Animal Welfare, Explosives, and other regulations within the responsibilities of the licensing team. · To process License applications, including renewals, variations, amendments, and the notification of Council decisions on matters relating to · To maintain licences and other records securely and · To attend meetings, including meetings with Council Members, licensees, and others, as directed · To be responsible for cash and other income, resources, equipment, and materials, as directed Knowledge, skills & experience: · Ability to quickly learn licensing regulation and related administrative · licensing experience under LA03 and GA05 (Licensing Act 2003 and Gambling Act 2005 · Ability to meet targets and work · Ability to work · Ability to follow · Good customer relations and mediation skills · Ability to effectively use · Good communication skills · knowledge of licensing regulation and related administrative processes (desirable) · Educated to at least GCSE level or equivalent with passes in Mathematics and English language (A-C / 9-4) or relevant work · Licensing or equivalent administration Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
