Team Overview: The Stores & Warehousing team manages the receipt, storage, and distribution of all materials and equipment required for our projects. By maintaining organised inventory control and efficient stock management, the department ensures that the right materials are available at the right time, supporting smooth project workflows and reducing delays. Their role is key to operational efficiency and effective supply chain management. Role Overview: The Logistics Co-Ordinator is responsible for the strategic and operational management of all outsourced logistics activities relating to heavy lift and shift operations, crane hire procurement, abnormal load transport, and the movement of large modular plantrooms and plant from Ireland to Europe. The role does not directly operate vehicles or cranes but has full accountability for managing, coordinating, auditing, and performance-controlling all subcontracted providers. The role also incorporates internal logistics management, including the movement of plantrooms and equipment between manufacturing facilities and satellite storage locations prior to dispatch to client sites. The Logistics Co-Ordinator acts as the central control point for all logistics planning and execution, ensuring safe delivery, cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and responsiveness to programme changes. Job Title | Logistics Coordinator Location | Banbridge Head Office Hours | Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-3pm Salary | Competitive Depending on Experience Responsible to | Head of Warehouse & Logistics What You'll be Doing This role is responsible for overseeing the full logistics lifecycle of heavy modular plantrooms and related equipment across Ireland and Europe, ensuring all transport, lifting, storage, and delivery activities are safe, compliant, and cost-effective. It involves managing oversized transport operations, coordinating internal and external movements, and integrating logistics into wider project and manufacturing schedules. The position also requires sourcing and managing subcontractors such as crane hire, haulage, and storage providers, while monitoring performance, safety, and costs. Key duties include reviewing lift plans and methodologies, coordinating on-site lifting operations, aligning logistics with project timelines, responding to programme changes, and maintaining forward schedules. Additionally, the role supports commercial objectives by managing budgets, controlling subcontractor costs, and driving efficiencies without compromising service quality.
