The Role

We’re looking for a Reservation & Reception Manager who can balance the art of hospitality with operational excellence. This role is at the heart of how guests experience Daka Daka from their first call or click to the moment they’re greeted at the door. You’ll lead our reservations and reception operations, ensuring seamless communication, guest flow, and service readiness. This is a hands‑on position that includes regular floor shifts, working closely with the management team to deliver smooth service and elevate the guest experience every day.


Key Responsibilities


Reservations & Guest Experience

* Manage all incoming reservations through SevenRooms, phone, and email.
* Build and maintain guest profiles, preferences, and notes to personalize experiences.
* Optimize table turns and capacity in coordination with the floor team.
* Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback with warmth and professionalism.
* Support VIP bookings, events, and group reservations.


Reception & Team Leadership

* Lead & train team to deliver exceptional hospitality.
* Ensure the host desk and entry area reflect the spirit and style of Daka Daka.
* Oversee guest check‑ins, seating, and communication between FOH and BOH.
* Set the tone for service that is professional, warm, and efficient.


On‑Floor Responsibilities

* Participate in regular service shifts alongside the management team.
* Support floor operations, manage guest flow, and resolve on‑the‑spot issues.
* Collaborate with servers and managers to ensure pacing and guest satisfaction.
* Lead by example in upholding service standards and team morale.


Administrative & Coordination

* Monitor reservation patterns and guest feedback to improve systems and performance.
* Liaise with marketing and management teams on events, promotions, and partnerships.
* Maintain clear communication and detailed reporting for management meetings.


About You

* Minimum 2 years experience in a similar reservations, reception, or guest relations role.
* Strong knowledge of reservation systems – SevenRooms experience a plus.
* A natural host: polished, articulate, and calm under pressure.
* A team leader who thrives in a busy, guest‑focused environment.
* Passionate about genuine hospitality and creating lasting impressions.
