We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator to play a key role in supporting the delivery of marketing, social value and bidding activities across SDS.
Working closely with the Marketing & Bid Manager and wider team, you’ll contribute to the promotion and coordination of social value initiatives, development of engaging marketing content, and support the delivery of high‑quality bid submissions.

Key responsibilities
* Support the delivery of marketing activities, including website updates, social media, and marketing materials
* Assist with content creation such as posts, case studies, and internal communications
* Maintain brand consistency across all outputs
* Support the coordination and submission of award entries
Social Value Support
* Assist in coordinating and promoting social value activities across the business
* Engage with internal teams and external partners including charities and community groups
* Maintain social value records, databases, and evidence for reporting
* Support the collection of data for social value KPIs and reporting
* Develop social value content for bids and marketing materials
Bidding & Administration Support
* Support the development of CVs, project sheets and capability statements
* Maintain and organise the bid library and company resources
* Collaborate with Business Development, Business Support and Marketing teams
About you
You’re an organised and proactive individual who enjoys working collaboratively, takes pride in producing high-quality work, and is keen to develop a career in marketing and social value within a consultancy environment.
You’ll bring:
* A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business (or related subject), or relevant experience in a similar role Or eligibility for a degree apprenticeship route with appropriate qualifications
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
* Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
* A methodical, process‑driven approach to work
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
* Basic design skills (e.g. Canva, InDesign) or willingness to learn
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
* An interest in marketing, social value, or the built environment
* Alignment with SDS values of Success, Community, and Environment
