Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions, helping healthcare providers, researchers, and patients make informed decisions that advance care. Labcorp is seeking a Trainee Animal Care Technician to join our team in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
Work Schedule
Monday – Thursday 7.45am – 4pm, Friday 7.45am – 3.30pm. 1 in 3 weekends as overtime.
Responsibilities
* Acclimatisation of animals to their surroundings.
* Ensuring that animal enclosures are maintained.
* Cleaning out kennels, pens and cages and changing bedding.
* Exercising dogs and socialising with the animals.
* Handling, feeding and watering animals.
* Accurately recording vital animal information like body weights.
Minimum Qualifications
* Educated to GCSE Level or Equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
* Animal Care Level 2 OR Animal Management Level 3
* Institute of Animal Technology qualification
