Staff Accommodation Cleaning Operative
Location: 6 miles from Newquay (On-site)
Job Type: Part-time, Permanent
Hours: 8 hours per week
Schedule: Any two non-consecutive days per week, 4 hours per day
Pay: £12.71 per hour
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Staff Accommodation Cleaning Operative to help maintain our team accommodation to a consistently high standard. This role is about creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for staff living on-site.
You will take responsibility for cleaning and maintaining shared living spaces, ensuring all areas are safe, hygienic, and well-presented.
Key Responsibilities
1. Clean shared kitchens, bathrooms, toilets, and shower facilities
2. Maintain corridors, stairways, and communal areas
3. Support with bedroom changeover cleaning when required
4. Empty bins and manage waste and recycling
5. Monitor and report cleaning supply needs
6. Report maintenance issues promptly
7. Follow cleaning schedules and standards
8. Ensure all areas remain clean, safe, and welcoming
About You
9. Cleaning or housekeeping experience desirable but not essential
10. Full training provided
11. Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
12. Able to work independently
13. Strong attention to detail
14. Good organisation and time management skills
15. Positive and professional attitude
16. Basic understanding of health and safety
