As part of this mission, the Staffordshire Community Learning Service—within the Skills and Employability department—leads the government‑funded Skills Bootcamps programme across Staffordshire and Stoke‑on‑Trent. We commission, manage, and deliver an ambitious portfolio of adult learning opportunities that empower people to progress in their careers and achieve their aspirations. We are now looking for a highly organised Project Support Officer to join our Community Learning team. You'll be based at Staffordshire Place 1 in the centre of Stafford, with the flexibility to work from home in line with business needs. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, with continuation subject to future funding. Main Responsibilities You will support the successful delivery of the Skills Bootcamps programme across Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent and: Assist with business cases and collating relevant economic and skills data and reports. Producing a project plan and monitoring and reviewing. Monitoring and reporting on project timescales, budgets and resources. Develop, monitor and maintain change controls. Establish consistent quality control, practice, standards and programme governance to include analysis of risks and project risk register. The Ideal Candidate Ideally you'll have a relevant level 3 qualification and experience for this type of role to include working knowledge and awareness of project methodologies, planning processes and techniques and change methodologies. You should also be able to demonstrate: Effective communication skills, including developing and managing relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Experience in programme and project planning and monitoring and reporting techniques. Ability to aggregate, analyse and report a range of information.
