Merritt Recruitment is hiring a driven UK Sales Manager for a leading distributor and manufacturer in the global colour market (coatings, plastics, inks). This is a key role leading the sales team, growing market share, and managing major customer and principal relationships.
What You’ll Do
* Drive growth and open new opportunities
* Lead and motivate internal and external sales teams
* Manage key accounts and support territory sales
* Build strong principal relationships (strategy, pricing, reporting)
* Ensure fast follow‑up on quotes and samples
* Bring on new principals and product lines
* Support the team with product training
* Maintain strong stock and supply chain performance
* Track market trends and competitor activity
What You Need
* 510 years field sales experience in speciality chemicals
* BSc or equivalent in science or business
* Strong leadership and commercial drive
* Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship)
* Full UK driving licence
