Duties
* Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
* Support senior kitchen staff in food production tasks, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
* Participate in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and reporting any shortages or issues.
* Follow instructions from chefs and supervisors, demonstrating a willingness to learn and develop culinary skills.
Qualifications
* Previous kitchen experience is essential; experience in a restaurant setting is highly desirable.
* Culinary experience or formal training in hospitality or food production is an advantage.
* Strong understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards.
