We're looking for a skilled and collaborative professional to work closely with the Director of Talent and Head of Talent Development in shaping and delivering an effective Talent Development service. In this role, you'll lead the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of learning solutions that help colleagues develop, grow, and succeed. You'll promote best practice, use evidence to drive positive outcomes, and contribute to key initiatives such as leadership development, workforce planning, and induction-supporting our goal of creating a great place to work and achieving our strategic priorities.
This full-time (37 hours per week), permanent position sits within our People & Talent function and operates on an agile working pattern. You'll split your time between home, the office (Cardiff / Newport / Swansea), and on-site locations depending on the needs of the work each day. You'll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team dedicated to shaping organisational capability, supporting strategic workforce planning, and building a culture of continuous learning and development. A key part of the role includes leading and overseeing a range of impactful L&D projects that support business priorities, including inductions, leadership development and strategic workforce planning. You'll help drive colleague engagement and champion a strong learning culture. This is an excellent opportunity to influence organisational development at a strategic level while role‑modelling our values and commitment to continuous growth.
We're seeking someone with strong experience in diagnosing effective learning and development interventions, working with external stakeholders, and operating within a large and complex L&D environment. You'll be confident using digital learning platforms, evaluating impact and ROI through data, and supporting management teams. Curiosity is essential – we need someone who asks open, thoughtful questions to get the best from people, and who proactively identifies learning gaps and brings fresh ideas back to the team. Strong stakeholder management is key, with the confidence to work effectively with senior leaders. You'll be an innovative problem‑solver who builds credible relationships, offers constructive challenge, influences decision‑making through analytical L&D reporting, and produces clear, concise, evidence‑based insights.
