As a Product Data Loader you will:
* Accurately load and maintain rates and contract information for various product types - including flights, hotels, Cruise and transfers into relevant systems
* Report on sales of products to suppliers and manage stop sells and release dates
* Meticulously map suppliers and destinations within internal systems, ensuring accurate linking and categorisation of inventory, to facilitate efficient searching, filtering, and reporting of product data
* Proactively identify and resolve discrepancies or inconsistencies in product data, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams as necessary, to maintain data accuracy and minimise potential booking errors
* Develop and document efficient data loading and management processes, identifying opportunities for automation and improvement, to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual effort
* Collaborate with technology teams to implement and test new data integration tools and system enhancements, ensuring seamless data flow and optimal system performance
Who are we looking for?
* A background in a similar travel-based role
* GDS experience (preferable) – with knowledge on how to obtain best possible flight options/fares and re-ticket
* Familiar with hotel room rates, availability, and contracts
* Ability to work with minimum supervision, taking ownership of tasks, and maintaining focus when tight deadlines are required
* Show creative thinking when solving problems, wanting to resolve these as quickly as possible
