Job Overview
Assitant Cook – 12.5 hrs per week. Term Time – Permanent.
Working hours: 10am‑2pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the cook with the preparation of school meals.
* Assist in the training and organisation of staff.
* Cover for the Cook in their absence and cover at other schools within the County Borough.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate (training provided if necessary).
* Enhanced with Children Barred list criminal records check by DBS required.
* Ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh.

Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
