The successful candidate will support the school's vision and implement strategies to achieve it. This is a key position during an exciting and challenging period for the school. Inveralmond Community High School, situated in the Ladywell area of Livingston, is a comprehensive non-denominational school serving a cluster of six primary schools.
The current school roll is approximately 1000 students. The school fosters a supportive environment with a strong focus on raising standards.
The school offers a broad curriculum from first year to sixth year, with a full range of educational opportunities. The successful candidate will have the experience and leadership skills necessary to lead a team and advance the principles of Curriculum for Excellence, supporting the school's improvement agenda. They will also hold full responsibility for STEM education.

This position involves regulated work with vulnerable children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful candidates must join the scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before starting employment, with costs covered by the candidate.
The fee for full PVG Scheme membership is £59; existing members pay £18.
