Summary:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, Trust Care Solutions, for compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants and Carers to support individuals within their own homes. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care that promotes comfort, dignity, and independence. This position is ideal for those with strong communication skills, a caring nature, and a genuine passion for making a difference in peoples lives.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
Support clients in following their individual care plans, ensuring that all needs are met effectively.
Communicate regularly with clients to understand their needs and preferences, fostering a trusting relationship.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition, reporting these to the healthcare team as necessary.
Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support.
Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
Requirements
Must have the right to work in the UK
Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
Valid UK Drivers Licence and access to a car an advantage.
Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is highly desirable.
Familiarity with creating and following care plans is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically.
Basic IT skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes.
A genuine passion for providing quality care and support to individuals in need.
