About the role:
14. Prepare hot and cold meals for residents according to their needs and preferences
15. Assist with planning seasonal menus
16. Ensure compliance with the Health & Safety Policy and regulations
17. Carry out checks in the kitchen as required to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, for example recording fridge temperatures
18. Maintain a clean and hygienic environment, including washing and clearing up equipment
19. Report all accidents and incidents to the Person-in-Charge of the home
About you:
20. The right to live and work in the UK (please note, sponsorship is not available)
21. Previous experience in a similar role and setting (i.e. a care home or a school)
22. Certificate Level II in Food Safety and Hygiene
23. Knowledge of nutritional needs of older people
24. Health and Safety and regulatory requirements
25. A positive and flexible attitude towards work and the ability to work well in a team
