What the Job Involves As a legal advisor in the childcare legal team, your role demands providing high-quality, solution-focused legal advice while managing a varied caseload autonomously. You will prepare for and manage court applications, draft legal documents, and represent the Council across different judicial platforms. The position requires you to report progress to Children’s Services, ensure compliance with current legislation, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Other responsibilities include overseeing team projects, offering professional support to junior colleagues, meeting performance targets, and assisting with recruitment. You will be required to act according to Council's policies and actively contribute to the organisation's commitment to equality and diversity.
