Are you an experienced technical leader with a passion for digital imaging equipment and mentoring field engineers? We’re looking for a Technical Manager – Digital to join our Engineering Field Service team and play a pivotal role in supporting our field engineers, driving continuous improvement, and bridging the gap between technical and sales teams. What you’ll do: Act as the technical escalation point for the business, liaising directly with manufacturers. Own and manage key contracts, ensuring delivery of high-quality technical support. Lead field engineer training and development, including in-house training, mentoring, and in-field assessments. Manage continuous improvement programs with manufacturers, reporting on equipment quality and fault trends. Support new product introductions and manage remote support for customers. Directly manage and develop the Digital Imaging Support Advisor to build team capability. Maintain strong communication between technical and sales teams, supporting pre-sales activity and ensuring seamless handovers to after-sales support. What we’re looking for: ✅ Specialist knowledge of digital imaging equipment ✅ Supervisory/management experience in an engineering or related discipline ✅ Strong communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels ✅ Excellent customer-facing skills and ability to work under pressure ✅ Driving licence required (field-based role) Desirable: HNC in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent vocational experience) Why join us?
