Responsibilities
* Participate in the topping-up service to wards and departments at Queens Hospital Burton On Trent
* Participate in the ad‑hoc supply of stock items to wards and departments
* Participate in the supply and distribution of pharmaceuticals to wards and departments
* Participate in the receipt of all goods delivered to the pharmacy store, checking goods against delivery documents, recording batch numbers, expiry dates and details on the pharmacy stock control system
* Ensure products are stored in the correct areas
* Perform waste management and disposal of returned medicines, including hazardous items
* Participate in stock checks
* Provide customer‑focused service, dealing with Trust staff at the hatch or receipt area
Qualifications
A pharmacy NVQ Level 2 qualification would be advantageous to the post, however not essential as training and education can be provided.

8:15 am – 4:15 pm
