Overview
Certain Advantage is partnering with a key client to recruit a Quality Inspector to ensure that products, processes, and workmanship meet internal quality standards and customer requirements. The role is responsible for inspection, documentation, and supporting continuous improvement across operations.
Responsibilities
* Perform in-process and final inspections on products, components, and assemblies.
* Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, procedures, and quality standards.
* Detect, document, and report any non‑conformances.
* Assist with root‑cause investigations and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
* Maintain precise inspection records and quality documentation.
* Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to address and resolve quality issues.
* Ensure inspection and measuring equipment is properly used and calibrated.
* Contribute to internal audits and ongoing continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications
* Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings and specifications.
* Solid knowledge of welding processes.
* Familiarity with, or certification in, PCN or CSWIP welding inspection.
* Understanding of inspection methods and quality control tools.
* Proficient in the use of measuring instruments such as verniers, micrometers, and gauges.
* Strong attention to detail with effective problem‑solving abilities.
