The practice has a strong reputation for supporting clients across various sectors including financial services, technology, construction, and not-for-profit are seeking an experienced Audit Director with RI status to join our client's dynamic Redhill office. This role is pivotal in managing, overseeing, and mentoring a team of auditors, particularly focusing on the development and training of junior staff members. The Audit Director will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of the firm and ensuring the successful execution of audit engagements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the audit team, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
2. Oversee the training and professional development of trainees and junior staff members.
3. Manage a diverse portfolio of audit clients, with a focus on businesses with turnovers up to £15 million.
4. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and professional standards.
5. Provide strategic advice and insights to clients within various sectors including financial services, technology, construction, and not-for-profit.
6. Collaborate with other departments to offer a holistic service to clients.
7. Contribute to the growth and development of the Redhill office, supporting business development initiatives.
8. Maintain and strengthen client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
9. Prepare and present reports and findings to senior management and clients.
