Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Afternoon Shift Mon – Thur (3‑Day Weekend!)
Rugby
Up to £40,000
Right then, let's be honest, you're probably just skimming this for the key details anyway, so let's get straight to the point.
The Shift: It's a permanent afternoon shift. You'll work 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM, Monday to Thursday.
The Best Bit: That means a 3‑day weekend, every single week. No more Sunday night dread.
The Money: We can go up to £40k for the right person.
The Place: It's for a busy site in Rugby.
What you'll actually be doing
Pretty standard stuff for a mechanical maintenance engineer, you'll be looking after the machinery on site and doing a mix of planned, preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reacting to breakdowns when they happen. You'll be the one getting things back up and running or calling in contractors for more specific issues.
A bit about you
* You're an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer and know your way around production machinery.
* You're comfortable with both planning your day around PPMs and dropping everything to fix a machine that’s decided to stop.
* We need someone who can hit the ground running. This isn’t a trainee role for someone just starting out…sorry! Sound like a decent fit?
If you’re fed up with your current role and fancy getting your weekends back, click apply or send me your CV. If you can’t wait and really want to speak to me, please call Scott Saunders @ SolviT Recruitment on (phone number removed).
