We are working with a well-regarded Secondary School in Colchester that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join its successful Humanities department. The school is committed to delivering a broad and engaging curriculum that encourages students to think critically, develop analytical skills, and gain a strong understanding of historical events and their relevance to modern society.
Job Overview:
* Full-time, Monday - Friday History Teacher role.
* Teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 for suitable candidates.
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that inspire curiosity and a love of learning.
* Encourage students to develop critical thinking, research, and analytical skills.
* Assess, monitor, and track student progress to ensure strong attainment and achievement.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
* Work collaboratively with the Humanities department and wider school team.
* Contribute to curriculum development, enrichment activities, and educational visits.
* Support students in achieving their full academic potential.

What We're Looking For:
