As part of an innovative clinical and operational structure across the organisation, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Operational Coordinator to join our Women’s Health Services at Colchester Hospital.
As Senior Operational Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing leadership to the administrative teams and ensuring that a high-quality, comprehensive administrative service is delivered.
The Senior Operational Coordinator will be accountable for monitoring, assessing, and reporting on performance within defined service areas. This involves highlighting issues to the General Manager and identifying appropriate actions. The role also requires attendance at all relevant performance meetings with the General Manager.

Main duties of the job
1. In conjunction with the General Manager, provide operational management support to the services within the designated departments/services, working jointly with Clinical Service Directors and the Head of Operations for the Division.
2. Manage all aspects of operational delivery within the relevant clinical specialties of East Suffolk & North East Essex Foundation Trust, ensuring quality standards are met within resource and income constraints to support the Trust's development as a clinically led organisation.

Qualifications (Essential):
* Management/Business/Administration degree or proven management experience at equivalent level
* Postgraduate diploma in Management or equivalent experience
* Leadership courses/qualifications or commitment to work towards

* Prince 2 or project management course
