Iconic Resourcing is excited to partner with our client, a well-established and market-leading business in Stirling, to recruit a Group Accountant to join their finance team.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Group Accountant will support management accounting, annual financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, commentary, and analysis for various entities within the Group.
This role is ideal for an experienced Part-Qualified or Newly Qualified Accountant with industry experience. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare consolidated management accounts and financial statements for the group.
2. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
3. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, including HMRC and IFRS standards.
4. Liaise with auditors and support the year-end audit process.
5. Manage financial reporting processes and ensure data accuracy.
6. Oversee and improve internal financial controls.
7. Collaborate with project teams to provide financial guidance.
8. Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting.
Key Requirements:
The ideal candidate is a PQ or newly qualified accountant with experience in a similar role, such as a Group Accountant or Management Accountant, within industry. Strong process improvement skills, ability to manage multiple deadlines, and effective communication across the Group are essential.
