About The Role
This role will involve working closely with the Logistics Manager and Coordinators, maintaining clear communication and supporting the team with administrative duties and documentation whilst upholding the values of the business at all times.
As The Container Operations Assistant, Your Role Would Include
* Manage all administrative tasks for products within assigned source areas.
* Input and maintain purchase orders, shipment plans, and order data in SAP.
* Coordinate with team, suppliers, and shipping lines to ensure timely clearance and booking of shipments.
* Monitor shipment status, escalate issues, and ensure accurate documentation.
* Inbound shipments, process supplier invoices, and maintain container tracking data through to return.
* Produce weekly container updates and support ad hoc reporting.
* Support risk management efforts and assist with projects as needed.
* Attend weekly team meetings and contribute to meeting KPI targets.

The successful Container Operations Coordinator will have the following attributes:
* Proven experience in a similar role.
* Highly organised with strong time management.
* Proactive, driven, and solutions-focused.
* Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
* Skilled in influencing, negotiation, and cultural sensitivity.
* Adaptable, resilient under pressure, and detail-oriented.
* Geographically knowledgeable with good numeracy and IT skills (SAP experience preferred but not essential).
* Understanding of shipping documentation is an advantage.
