Payroll Manager (9-Month Contract) - iTrent System Expert

As the Payroll Manager, you will oversee all aspects of payroll operations, with a specific emphasis on the iTrent system. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining payroll accuracy,pliance, and efficiency throughout the organisation.
Key ResponsibilitiesiTrent System Management:
1. Utilise the iTrent payroll software to maintain accurate payroll records and generate reports.
2. Ensure data integrity within the system and troubleshoot any issues promptly.
3. Collaborate with IT and HR teams to optimise system functionality.
Payroll Processing:
4. Process payroll for a diverse workforce, including permanent, temporary, and contract staff.
5. Calculate salaries, bonuses, overtime, and deductions accurately.
6. Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
7. Stay up to date with payroll legislation and ensure adherence to legal requirements.
8. Prepare and submit statutory reports (, RTI, P11D, pension contributions).
9. Assist with year-end processes, including P60s and P45s.
Team Leadership:Supervise a small payroll team, providing guidance and support.Conduct regular performance reviews and identify training needs.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.Process Improvement:Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and enhance efficiency.Implement best practices and rmend system enhancements.Qualifications and Experience
Essential:Proven experience in a payroll management role within a public sector or large organisation.In-depth knowledge of the iTrent system (including Sys Admin functions).Strong understanding of payroll legislation andpliance.Excellentmunication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.Desirable:CIPP or equivalent payroll qualification.Experience with temporary and contract payroll.Familiarity with pension administration.
