Job description:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior EG&S Project Managerto lead the delivery and development of onshore wind and related energy projects across ABPs UK-wide port network.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of ABPs onshore wind projects from inception through planning and construction to operational handover.
Develop robust investment cases and present them to internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
Manage cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Commercial, Property, and Finance teams.
Build and maintain strong relationships with equipment vendors and key players in the power generation sector.
Represent ABP externally as a knowledgeable and trusted ambassador in the renewable energy sector.
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience managing full lifecycle delivery of onshore wind projects.
Strong understanding of the UK electricity market and onshore wind technologies.
Skilled in using and explaining energy asset/project valuation models in Excel.
Familiarity with UK grid connection processes and DNO requirements.
Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong influencing and negotiation capabilities.
Desirable Attributes
Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering renewable projects beyond wind.
Knowledge of electricity supply cost structures and the impact of on-site generation.
Confident presenter with the ability to influence senior leadership.
Organised, driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Strong academic background, ideally in a numerate discipline.
