Duties
* Assist with food preparation tasks, ensuring ingredients are ready for cooking and serving.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
* Support chefs and kitchen staff during service by providing necessary items and maintaining an efficient workflow.
* Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to within the kitchen environment.
* Help with the storage of food items and supplies, ensuring proper stock rotation.
* Participate in cleaning duties at the end of shifts to maintain a hygienic workspace.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
* A passion for food and cooking with an eagerness to learn about culinary practices.
* Experience in restaurants, hotels, or other hospitality settings is advantageous.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
* Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards collaboration with colleagues.
