Job Description
A leading law firm are looking to appoint a Managing Associate to join its highly regarded Energy team, based in Southampton.
This is an exceptional opportunity to work alongside partners with a market leading practice across the renewable and wider energy sectors, including onshore and offshore wind, solar, renewable heat, wave, tidal, hydrogen, and carbon capture and storage projects. The team also advises on conventional oil and gas matters and supports clients through the full energy lifecycle, from development and construction to operation and decommissioning.
As a Managing Associate, you will:
* Lead and support on complex energy and infrastructure transactions and development projects.
* Advise developers, investors, and contractors on commercial contracts, joint ventures, and regulatory frameworks.
* Play a key role in client relationship management and business development, helping to grow the team's presence in the South Coast and wider UK market.
* Supervise and mentor junior lawyers, contributing to the development of the team.
About You:
1. 5+ years' PQE (England & Wales or Scotland) with experience in energy, projects, or infrastructure.
2. A strong grounding in commercial or construction law, ideally with renewables or oil & gas exposure.
