Job Title: Mortgage Administrator- This is a part-time position initially offering 12 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 12pm-4pm/1pm to 5pm. We can offer flexibility around days and times.
Position Overview:
There are two parts to the role.
Part one:
Contacting via outbound and inbound calls new and existing clients to book them in for appointments with our Mortgage and protection advisers.
Part two:
The role of the administrator is to assist Mortgage and protection Advisers within the business to ensure efficient and effective operation, follow compliance procedures, liaise with solicitors, estate agents, mortgage lenders, insurance providers and advisers to progress cases to completion.
Essential Job Functions:
Confident speaking to a variety of different people on the phone
Provide excellence in customer service for our clients and liaise with 3rd parties where required to achieve this
Provide clear, accurate and concise information in all correspondence
Perform general administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and organising files and documents.
Ability to be able to plan and organise your workload without supervision
Assess priorities within the business and manage day to day tasks
Use systems, processes and procedures to ensure all compliance processes and procedures are adhered to
Assisting advisers within the company to progress applications to completion
Keep advisers updated on progress of applications
Qualifications:
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
Be able to use systems and programs as required to maintain an effective operation as required by the needs of the business
Ability to challenge and negotiate to ensure client needs are met or exceeded
Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred but not required.
