The Job Role



An introductory Presales role with the aim of exposing the successful candidate to the technical aspect of enterprise technology.



In this role you will be providing essential administrative support within the Presales team. You will also be working closely with internal sales and product teams. Using vendor configurators, you will be required to build solution bill of materials to customer specification.



Dealing with customers, providing excellent service, and working to deadlines are also key skills, along with your ability to build relationships and deal comfortably with people over the phone.





Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:



* Providing accurate responses to customer requests within SLA
* Qualifying customer requests and ensuring all information is provided.
* Becoming the trusted advisor to partners whilst working closely with vendors and internal sales & product teams.
* Manage configuration tools and processes.
* Interpreting customer specifications and business needs.
* Holding and maintaining relevant technical certifications.
* Influence partner & customer evaluation criteria and decision making.
* Maintains knowledge of competitors to strategically position the company's products and services better.
* Work closely with sales & business development teams, reporting activity back to management and contributing to business strategy where possible.
* Supporting the Sales team in the areas of pricing, tools and training.
* Developing best practice for fulfilling non-standard deals.
* Manage Zendesk workflow
* Troubleshooting, resolving issues and managing the escalation process.
* Liaise with bid desk to ensure process and communication is maintained

* Ability to learn quickly and to have a methodical and logical approach
