Client: BAE Systems
Location: Christchurch
Duration: 12 months
Hourly Rate: £53.73 PAYE or £72.54 Umbrella
Working Arrangements: 3 days on site
Clearance: Due to the security requirements of this role, it requires full SC Clearance and UK Eyes only.
The Role
BAE are looking for a Systems Engineer to join their Digital Intelligence team within Communications and Networks. You will support the development of innovative technology solutions, working across the full systems engineering lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Support systems engineering activities across design, development, and integration
* Contribute to business development studies and technical solutions
* Deliver work to agreed scope, quality, and timelines
* Accurately report progress and provide technical input
* Maintain high standards of safety and compliance
What We're Looking For
1. Strong background in Systems Engineering
2. Good understanding of the full systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements, design, implementation, integration, testing, and acceptance
3. Experience with development tools such as requirements management, modelling, and defect tracking systems
